Opportunity

We have two positions available – An Intermediate Accountant and Senior Accountant position with HLV Partners, Nambucca Valley & North Coast NSW, Full-time.

Amazing opportunity for an intermediate and a senior accountant to grow their career at a rapidly expanding accounting firm.

HLV Partners is a medium sized reputable accounting firm in the Nambucca Valley seeking an intermediate accountant and a senior accountant with current experience who wants to work with our business clients and team of accountants in a modern and technology driven environment.

We are looking for someone who is pro-active and has aspirations for ongoing development and growth in both skills, salary and progression within the firm. 

The Role:

• Preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns and Activity Statements for individual, partnership, company, trust and SMSF clients.
• Bookkeeping services for small business clients using Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks accounting software.
• Providing assistance to the Accounting and Bookkeeping team.
• Staying up-to-date with changes to accounting standards, legislation and best practices.
• Client business service advisory as appropriate.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns.
• Current experience working as an senior or intermediate accountant within a public practice accounting firm.
• Accounting degree qualification and membership with CPA Australia or CAANZ; or working towards.
• Proficient in accounting software including experience with Xero, MYOB and O365.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
